Pre-Apprenticeship Programs
December 2018 our pre-apprenticeship group with the Cincinnati-Hamilton County Community Action Agency went out into the community with the Cincinnati Fire Department and installed smoke alarms for those in need. Smoke alarms were installed in residential homes, a daycare, a restaurant and a clothing store. Thank you to the Red Cross for providing the smoke alarms and to Cincinnati Fire for spending the morning with us!

Pre-Apprenticeship is an industry-driven training model designed to help employers attract qualified applicants and increase productivity. It combines on-the-job related technical instruction to teach the practical and theoretical aspects of a skilled occupation.
These programs run anywhere from six to twelve weeks. Job Readiness/Pre-Apprenticeship Programs are designed to prepare participants for a career in the construction industry. The programs are a collaboration between Allied Construction Industries and community partners. This training model allows construction companies to hire from a pool of certified applicants who are ready for employment.
