Pre Apprenticeship Program
March 31st, 2017 kicked off the Pre Apprenticeship Program made possible by the Urban League of Greater Cincinnati and ACI. This program, held at ACI lasts for six weeks, running Monday through Friday from 7:30am-12:00pm and is lead by ACI Education Director, Travis Baudendistel. Over the course, students will be working with our instructors on obtaining their OSHA 10 Certification, NCCER Basic Safety classes, as well as developing and honing their construction math skills.

Pre Apprenticeship is an industry-driven training model designed to help employers attract qualified applicants and increase productivity. It combines on-the-job related technical instruction to teach the practical and theoretical aspects of a skilled occupation.
Construction Connections is a nine week Job Readiness/Pre Apprenticeship Program designed to prepare participants for a career in the construction industry. The program is a collaboration between Allied Construction Industries and the Greater Cincinnati Urban League. This training model allows construction companies to hire from a pool of certified applicants who are ready for employment.
