Safety Programs    

• ACI offers a variety of safety, health, environmental and risk programs designed for the commercial construction industry.  Core classes such as the OSHA 10 & 30 hour prvide the backbone along with individual classes on construction applicable hazards.  ACI can design and/or arrange classes tailored to their company specific needs.
• In order to be effective, maintaining a proactive working relationship with OSHA is imperative and ACI has a partnership agreement that is covered by all 4 area OSHA offices in Ohio for members to join.  On a national level, ACI is a VPP Challenge Program Administrator, providing the opportunity for members to submit their applications for OSHA's BPP Program.
• A few additional membership safety services include a free video lending library, online safety training, material discounts through J.J. Keller, an annual safety awards program and an annual construction safety day co-sponsored by the Cincinnati Area OSHA office.  Additional information about these and the many other services are available in the "Safety Program and Services" section of this website.

      Education Programs

ACI is committed to attracting, educating and training a diversity of highly qualified people to meet the needs of the commercial construction industry in Greater Cincinnati and the surrounding Tri-State area. 

We are proud to offer our members one of the best and most effective Education Programs of any commercial construction trade association in the country. We help our members grow by providing them the knowledge, skills and characteristics necessary to master day-to-day performance excellence and realize exceptional and sustainable results. 

Our education and training opportunities are organized and uniquely customized for the construction industry under five key program categories:

• Plan Room: ACI has one of the largest plan rooms in the Tri-State area. We display current commercial construction plans for contractors to review. The plan room is open during normal business hours (7:30 am - 5:30 pm M-F). Members can also access the plan room 24/7, 365 days a year, with the purchase of an after hours access key.

   

• Bid Calendar: To keep members informed on physical plans in the plan room, the ACI Bid Calendar is faxed or e-mailed twice a week free of charge. The Bid Calendar is a list of the projects that can be found in the plan room, along with the project's bid date and the location of the plans in the plan room.

   

• ACI's Construction Connection: This comprehensive report is sent via fax or e-mail and provides up-to-date information on construction projects in the various stages of planning, bidding, results and awards. This service is available to ACI members at a discounted subscription rate.

   

• ACI's Internet Plan Room: Our Internet plan room will allow you to go online and search new projects, reporting information or view plans online. There is also an estimating tool box available

• Payroll Services: Through ACI your company can receive discounts on payroll, online payroll, direct deposit, check signing and much more.
• Contractor's Software: In addition to providing our members with great project information, ACI provides its members with savings programs on contractor's software.
• Wireless Service: From phones to email, Bluetooth to Blackberry... ACI's cellular phone bill evaluation program can save you time and money on products and plans.  
• Gasoline Savings: ACI member companies can save hundreds possibly thousands of dollars each month on gasoline costs (diesel included). The program is customizable to your companies needs. 
• Worker's Comp: Receive sound, strategic advice for your business and allow our endorsed provider to design and aggressive program that can save you company on workers compensation premiums.

Networking Opportunities

• Annual Dinner Meeting: ACI hosts the largest gathering of commercial construction professionals in the construction industry.
• Annual Golf Outing: Members enjoy a day of golfing, contests, good eating and networking at Maketewah Country Club.
• Annual Picnic: If fun, friends, co-workers, games, door prizes and a raffle aren't enough... How about an old-fashioned pig roast?!
• Annual Safety Day: This all day event gather employees from companies all over the tri-states to discuss, review and share important topics in the safety industry.

 Advertising/Sponsorship Opportunities

• The Constructor Magazine: This quarterly Magazine has a circulation of 1,400 and the magazine is read by ACI we well as construction writers (for publications like the Cincinnati Enquirer and the Business Courier) and prominent members of the community. Topics covered in the magazine include new member information, current events, industry events, member announcements (i.e. promotions, new products, etc.). Member written articles are encouraged.  Advertising available in 1/4 to full size, color or black & white ads. 
• Bi-Monthly Bulletin: Published bi-monthly, the bulletin contains updated information to ensure you don't miss the classes and upcoming events that will benefit your company. ACI's bulletins give you the opportunity to stay current with industry events and published job openings in your company to members of the construction community. It has a circulation of over 2,000. Advertising is available.
• The Membership Directory: Members companies are arranges alphabetically and by CSI category in this yearly publication. The directory serves as a reference guide to members, giving them contact information for fellow members and other important information.  Advertising available in color or black & white ads. 
• Annual Golf Outing: Opportunities in sponsoring holes, contests, breakfast, lunch, dinner, raffle and give-a-way prizes. Approximant attendance is 250 golfers.
• Annual Safety Day: A once a year event attended by over 300 safety professionals filled with education sessions, keynote speakers and exhibit viewing. Set up a booth, hang your banner or sponsor lunch, plenty of opportunities.
